I need to lift up my skirt. Grab the bull by the horn, and run with it.   Your parents are not there to help you or save you. Your husband is not there to help you or save you. You are responsible for equipping yourself, teaching yourself, with the best set of knowledge and tools for success.   There is no one you should lean on or rely on.  No person.

Joel: Yeah, you said "so go." With such disdain, you know?
Clementine: Oh, I'm sorry.
Joel: It's okay.
Clementine: Joely? What if you stayed this time?
Joel: I walked out the door. There's no memory left.
Clementine: Come back and make up a good-bye at least. Let's pretend we had one.
